The Vision
The Vision of ZOE Bible Church…
“Go teach my people faith.” These were the words spoken to Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin, founder of RHEMA Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. ZOE Bible Church is a result of RHEMA Bible Training Center and RHEMA Bible Church, Pastored by Kenneth Hagin, Jr. Therefore, the very foundation of our vision is the vision passed on from Dr. Hagin and RBTC to, “Go teach my people faith.”
“Come and Experience God.” This is the invitation given at ZOE Bible Church. It is our desire to bring the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. It is also our desire to bring the fullness of the revelation and the knowledge of the Word of God to those that are born again that they may live a satisfying and fruitful life pleasing to God.
1 Corinthians Ch 2:1-7 describes very well the parameters by which ZOE Bible Church operates.
(v1) And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. (v2) For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. (v3) And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. (v4) And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: (v5) That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. (v6) Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: (v7) But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
We believe in a loving, caring God that moves with compassion, who is also an awesome, Holy God that will execute judgment. A God who is just, faithful and true to His word who will move with Power. God intends for us to walk in a relationship with Him in such a way that demonstrates that He is very real, tangible and experienced in our every day lives.
It is our vision to help people develop their relationship with God in such a way that they will know His plan and purpose for their lives and be able to live it out so they will hear: “Well done my good and faithful servant.” when they stand before God in that day. In addition, our vision incorporates the training of people in the areas of essential life skills that will better equip them to live life to its fullest, experience everything God intended for them to experience. We plan on one day being able to provide vocational training and job placement for those coming out of the judicial system as well as for those whose upbringing has left them short of being able to accomplish this on their own. The confidence we have in fulfilling our vision is found in I Corinthians 13:8, “Love never fails.”
